The Crown - Réserver une table

You can stay the night in your campervan or small motorhome here, if you ask the management in advance and dine with them. I went there with my son and was greeted warmly, and treated well. They have FRESH FISH FRIDAY which took my eye,...and the chef said they would also do a kids portion even though it wasn't on the menu. It was a big portion and absolutely delicious. The bar staff were young and very friendly and provided good service. We ended up having a nice chat with some friendly locals at the bar after our meal. Slept very well after a few pints in their quiet carpark. Beautiful church just opposite and the next morning they were hosting small Xmas market which we also visited, buying a few things before moving on. Enjoyed our evening and stopover. would definitely return

I reviewed this wonderful pub nearly years ago and we still visit regularly and take friends there also, it is truly a special place and being family run they seem to take care so much more than other places, the home made food is...simply delicious and I think we have had nearly everything on the menu !!! the staff are so friendly and seem to care about the customers AND the pub itself which is charming and so welcoming and also dog friendly, we live in Leigh on sea and we drive to the Crown as we cant find anything as good in our area, also the prices at the Crown are so much more affordable compared to nearly all the other pubs etc anywhere,.....its a wonderful place to visit for EVERY occasion and we would thoroughly recommend it...THANK ALL YOU ALL AT THE CROWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Table booked for of us to celebrate a family member’s birthday. Sadly one person dropped out but still of us had a lovely time and the last minute dropout was not an issue for the great people running this place! The food was...lovely, staff super friendly and welcoming, including to our little ‘additional needs’ member! All adults had different meals and everyone was happy! The youngest member of the group had the childrens meal of vegetable pasta and ice cream sundae and cannot wait to go again! Great place to meet, eat and drink . The atmosphere is very pleasant with privacy for a large group booking as we found out. This was our first time visiting but we already have a second date in mind soon!

Had lunch here recently and the family owned pub had lovely, friendly staff working there. Unfortunately, after having a pork roast and the sticky toffee pudding, both were a bit of a let down. Although the food was very reasonably priced, the roast lacked flavour...and seasoning with most of it overcooked; and the dessert was most definitely not home made and more of a treacle sponge than a sticky toffee pudding. With such a beautiful country pub, it would be great to see really good, locally sourced food, even if it came with a higher price.

Thanks to Charlotte Team Crown for another lovely Sunday lunch Today We find this the best pub to eat not only for Sunday lunches, but for other meals during the week. The Team Crown are wonderful we find this such a comfortable...place to relax over meals drinks. We understand how everyone here works so hard to make it a warm place to be it works so well.
