The Crown is the hub of the village. The atmosphere is always homely and friendly. There is a great clientele and vary rare you see any trouble. It's a safe place to be. Roger and Linda work hard to keep this happy pub enjoyable to all. Iv lived in the village all my life and any celebrations are usually involving the Crown. The entertainment has been great over the years. Both Kareoke and individual singers. You can always get a good meal there to. There are lots of fund raises for charity and different activities through the week. Well done Roger n Linda and all your staff. Xxx
We recently had our Christmas gathering at The Crown tonight. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We opted for the Christmas menu, which offered a good variety of choices. The service was outstanding and the staff were fantastic. Thank you very much. Unfortunately, we didn't stay as long as we wanted to because it was very cold in the room we were in, which was disappointing.
We had our wedding meal on Friday and roger was great. The meal was fantastic as always. He made us all comfortable and after a few last minute alterations on my part what felt like a big deal to me roger told me not to worry and relax. We had a great day so thank you again and thank you to the waiting staff and chef. Top job guys xx
big pub, we don't often go into that, but when we do, there's always a great friendly atmosphere. roger can't dance! linda knows how to make a good cup coffee, although the machine was shut off, it wasn't too much effort for linda to go in the back around 20:45 to make me a coffee. thanx for a beautiful village pub.

Both my wife and I had an enjoyable Tuesday evening learning all about gin from the Locklsey Distillery. Value for money 2 gin and tonic cocktails and buffet for £5.00. Well done to the landlord, staff and the Locksley Distillery home the very nice tasting Sir Robin of Locksley gin.
it is one of those outside the map that everyone should find in the world. the community spirit of the pubs is not equal, eating is excellent, the cellar in excellent order and keeping is excellent. I can't do enough about the crown rave. a must for everyone and everyone.
I love this pub. I've covered the karaoke twice for Blue Savannah. The people are really down to earth, and there's never any trouble. Really nice folk who love a good night out. And the bar staff are fantastic. Keep up the good work Roger !!
our youngest son there for lunch, found in the internet (where else great selection of food, great beer and first class service. highly recommended.

we went to a birthday meal and it was nice staff / owner was so welcoming and friendly and eating was really good we will definitely be back.
