We are a large singing group (65 people) who were competing in a comp in Cairns over the Easter weekend and we ate all of our meals at The Crown. The folks at The Crown accommodated all of our dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc)...and had delicious options that everybody loved. Things were buffet style for our group and we sat in their beautiful beer garden. I cannot stress how amazing the food was! I was also delighted at the service we received. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our members ranged in ages from 14 yrs to 86yrs. Everyone was thrilled with the menu options. We were all very happy and are looking forward to eating here again.
Came here for breakfast as was walking past but looked very dimly lit. Food was nice but asked for coffee/tea with our food to be told that they do not offer this even though the manager was sat eating breakfast WITH A COFFEE. Barmaid was very nice but manager made us feel like we were in his way when he actually acknowledged us. Needed the key to go to the toilet and as only one bar maid working was not worth our time to wait. Overall not a great experience but the food was nice. If you're going to do breakfast, do it right!
I recently went to a pub with a garden bar. The waitress serving at the bar had purple/pink hair and glasses, and she was the rudest waitress I have ever encountered. She kept pestering me three times to order a drink while I was attempting to pay with my card. Her attitude was completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry, and I was quite disgusted by her behavior. The place had a nice atmosphere, but I will not be returning due to this terrible experience. I do not recommend this place.
was drilled in another hotel for 14 terrible days of quarantine after the return from overseas. nikki and the team were great and went out of the way to make the stay as easy as possible. nikki was simply great with choice and...delivery of all alcoholics, but above all the wee! she even picked up a burger on the way after the restaurant. I'll go back there if I get out of here!

We traveled 25 mins from Palm Cove twice for dinner at this pub. Lots of locals drink here. We had steak, egg and chips both times and the steak was as good as you get in a more upmarket restaurant. The house wine is around $6 a glass and very acceptable. The staff are really pleasant and its an experience we really enjoy. Next time we are in FNQ will be going back here.
Nikki and the team will go beyond and above to make your experience as wonderful as possible. Venue has a great selection of craft beer for those who like something a little out of the ordinary, as well as options to suit every taste. If...you're a local or just in town for a visit I highly recommend supporting this local business. You will not be disappointed.
The place looks a bit sad inside. I wanted to wash my hands before I ate but there was no soap in the gents toilets and they looked as though they hadn't been cleaned all day.Still, I decided to stay and the food was actually really nice and reasonably priced.
The best pub in Cairns by far! Had a great weekend with Nicky and Tyla, and would definitely recommend. Also the food was great, new favourite pub. Don’t come if you hate fun

Bar staff were extremely helpful in providing anything we needed during our two week isolation. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable as possible.
