The Curtin Bluebonnet Barbecue

Great food, great bar-staff. The food here has really been on the up and up of late. It offers good quality pub-fare at very reasonable prices. The steak here is quite good and the peppercorn gravy is awesome. The parma is above average for the melbourne standard too. However what makes this place is the bar-staff who are relaxed and easy-going and really set the un-pretentious vibe of the place. This is refreshing in what at times can be a 'too-cool-for-school ' attitude in the melbourne bar-scene.

What a night!!. Made my way down to the new kitchen at The Curitn tonight. Wasnt going to venture out in the cold but iam so glad I did. Had a fantastic meal with good red wine and a nice vibe.On Tuesdays they have free live music in the front bar which was a great way to finish off the night. For the record I DID have a parma. it was MASSIVE and great.Kitchen is open till 10pm which is handy.

I recently visited a nostalgic pub with live music and decided to order the fried chicken while enjoying some drinks before a show. Although the wait was a bit lengthy, it was definitely worth it. The fried chicken was tender, juicy, and crispy - hands down the best I've ever had.

The clientele at The Curtin consists mainly of tradespeople and students from nearby. Although the pub may have changed hands over the years, I keep coming back for the delicious food they serve. Their menu doesn't change much, so it's worth keeping an eye out for any updates. Réservez une table maintenant

This is my favorite spot in Melbourne! I have been to numerous events here and always enjoy myself. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere in the pub is fantastic. The food is also amazing! I tried the fried chicken burger and it was packed with flavor.

An absolute gem this one. Had the Sonny Burger which is one of the better burgers I’ve had in Melbourne the chicken, bun and slaw was amazing. The venue itself is a classic rock ‘n roll themed pub sticky floors, live music, smell of beer. Can’t wait to get back.

The Curtin has a rotating kitchen, most recently Huxtaburger and currently Blue Bonnet. The bar staff are really friendly. I wish they opened earlier for lunch. This place smells like bleach during the day and theres music at night. A regular for uni students.

Tasty food! Cool atmosphere!If you like a dark little bar, the Curtin is the place to go. Staff are super friendly, serving size of the meals are perfect. Chicken Parma is a fave followed closely by the calamari. The new kitchen are doing an awesome job!! Réservez une table maintenant

One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had! Still thinking about it long after eating it! Good friendly service, food was quick to come out. Definitely coming back again to try more of the menu out.

Match made in heaven! One of the best bars in Melbourne matched with the one of Melbourne's best burgers. All the makings for a great night out!Do yourself a favor and get down before it's all over
