I've come a couple of times now, yet somehow I always miss when the upstairs is open, which is a shame since i hear it's quieter. If you come right after work, it's not so busy/loud, but around 7, I noticed the music volume pick up to compete with the talking noise, which I did not love.The bartenders and servers are really nice, and they have decent happy hour deals, including a delicious weekly cocktail that is cheaper (10 bucks? than the ones on the menu (13ish (which rotates seasonally I believe .Will not become a regular haunt for me, but it's worth checking out!
Once came for Happy Hour and sat at the bar. Drinks are delicious (only a bit expensive). The ambience is beautiful. Lots of street parking. Cosy place for a night with friends who's a bit higher. You had live music the day I left, which is a nice note. The one thing I felt was a bit of printing, we sat at the bar, and when we paid our tab (via the electronic screen), the suggested tip started from 22% (post-tax) to 30%. I understand that times are hard, but I felt under pressure in this situation given the very high options.
The perfect atmosphere for drinking beautifully designed cocktails. Low ceilings, sofas, candlelight, not too crowded, but populated enough to have the humor of conversation to go social experience I want. The bartenders are all very nice and attentive, and I was greeted with immediate warmth! Food options are a little limited, but unique and tasty; more of a snack than a meal for most I expect is the intention. This is definitely my new rule
Great food, great drinks, fabulous (romantic) atmosphere. I wish I lived next door. By the way, check with them whether their listing says here they are closed: they are definitely open on Sunday (2-10), because I am here now! They especially love their creative mixed drinks, pig sliders, the Mediterranean cruise and autumn salad. Very attentive people behind the bar!
