After waiting 20 minutes for someone to come to my table, I received an alert on my watch indicating that the ambient noise level exceeded 90dB, which could potentially cause hearing damage with prolonged exposure. The best part of my experience was my waitress, who was incredibly friendly, but I could barely hear her even though we were just a foot apart and having to shout to communicate. She kindly moved me to the back of the restaurant and apologized for various issues, even though most were clearly beyond her control. Loved, loved, loved everything about this place. This review is overdue and unfortunately I don't remember the name of the server that assisted us, but she was great!!! As you'll see by my other reviews, we love seafood and there's something special about a crab boil. We seek them out wherever we go and this place was a gem. The fried oysters melted in our mouth. The boil was plentiful and perfectly seasoned with finger licking sauce. We had drinks that were delicious and strong. And we loved the bag that they gave us for our to go order. I had to take a picture of the exterior to make sure to remember to leave this review and here it is : Thank you!
Happy Hour offers 2-for-1 drinks on Fridays and Saturdays... and it's all day? I felt like I was in paradise, but the experience took a downturn when the food arrived. We ordered a bucket of oysters for $29.99, but unfortunately, most of the oysters were tiny. We decided to try the grilled oysters next, and while they looked amazing with all the cheese and seasoning on top, locating the oyster itself was like searching for a needle in a haystack. Perhaps other menu items would be better, but while the drinks were decent and the service was fine, I definitely wouldn't recommend having an oyster night here.
The seafood boil was super salty and the potatoes were a bit hard(I’ve definitely had wayyyy better on the east side). I also got wings, which were nearly burned. The sweet potato fries were great. Oh, they also mixed up my boil with someone else’s so I had to drive back to the restaurant for a swap and wing remake. When they saw the wings and felt one they were like, “Oh! It is hard”. Too much of a hassle for salty and burned food. The ladies that greeted me were very sweet and friendly even though it was really hot in the establishment. The AC was broken that day. We visited The Dancing Crab as a party of four and ordered appetizers and boils. Overall, the food was quite good, though I must concur with other reviewers that the boils were a bit on the salty side. While we all finished our meals, we did find the saltiness to be a bit excessive. Aside from that, the drinks were decent, and the staff was adequate, though somewhat inconsistent.
I had a fantastic time at this unique seafood restaurant! We ordered the family seafood combo with the popping sauce, which was mild yet delicious and packed with flavor, complete with a nice little kick. We visited on a Tuesday when they had karaoke, which we ended up enjoying a lot. Our server and the evening's MC were both incredible! We will definitely be returning!
Much more of a dinner spot than a lunch. However it looks like the menus are the same. Place was super clean and well appointed with a cherry and friendly atmosphere. The staff was attentive and I wanted for nothing. I had the fish pole boy sandwich which was very tasty. I should have asked for more mayonnaise though. I will come again
Visited this location for a birthday dinner and it was so/so. They didn’t have any blue crabs but they did have my 2nd FAVORITE Dungeness crabs. The food was okay. They have a good amount of specials that will not hurt your pockets. We were able to catch happy hour and those drinks were strongggg. I loved that for US! Réservez une table maintenant
I tried the 2-for-1 special, and it was fantastic! I ordered both fried and steamed calamari, which were served in a bag. The 'everything' mild sauce was a bit too salty for my taste. However, the cheese sticks were delicious! The waitress provided good service too. Overall, a great experience!
