Our favourite on the Inner West fringe head over to Dosa Hub for what they do best Dosas! Since one of us is Indian who lived down South before moving to Australia, we've tried dosas all over the city. Dosa Hub wins hands down try their 70mm paper dosa, or mysore masala, or karam dosa. Also highly recommend their Kancheepuram Idlis, Sambar Wada, and Button Idlis. <br/ <br/ If you're a meat eater, try something different with their Military Chicken Curry, or their Railway Mutton Curry. You really won't get these preparations elsewhere, so please step away from Butter Chicken or Paneer when you head over to Dosa Hub. Their Chicken Dum Biryani is worth a try too. <br/ <br/ And yes, if you're fe...

I used to not be a fan of dosas, but I have been converted after trying the 70mm Masala dosa at this restaurant. The dosa was paper thin and crispy, served with a delicious creamy potato curry, sambar, and condiments, with my favorite being the coconut chutney. One of the highlights is that you can get refills of the potato curry and condiments, which is a nice bonus. The dum biriyani is also a must-try, with both the chicken and mutton versions being tasty and flavorful. Just make sure to have the dosa first to fully appreciate the flavors, as all the food tends to come out at once otherwise. I have also tried the lassi kulfi and gulab jamuns, but found them to be too sweet for my taste. Th...

Looks like there have been some mixed experiences here, but we certainly enjoyed. We came for brunch because we saw they have filter coffee. Great filter coffee! We drank two each! Excited to find a place in Sydney that offers it. We had the mini idlis and Mysore masala dosa. It's Kannada style, so the sambhar is a bit sweeter and less earthy than either the Tamil or Sri Lanka styles we are used to. I probably prefer Tamil style but it's just a question of what you're used to. There were three chefs cooking, all of whom were very professional and we had to thank them personally at the end of our meal because we enjoyed so much. Haven't tried their north Indian stuff yet but I suspect that's...

After reading mixed reviews, I was hesitant to dine at this restaurant. However, with a party planned at my house, I decided to give it a chance. I ordered mutton biriyani and chicken chettinad. The biriyani was flavorful, but the chettinad was just average. Despite this, I decided to order for the party. To my surprise, it turned out to be the best Indian food I have ever had in Sydney. From the mixed bajji and bakara chops appetizers to the biriyani, naan, dal fry, and chicken tikka masala, everything was absolutely delicious. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Name has taken a typical meaning in the food also. Apart from dosa, other food items are not that exciting. The customer service needs to be more efficient. The presentation of the food is impressive.  The menu needs to be more specific to be understood by all nationalities and not just the originated ones. The food is made fresh resulting in an unexpected wait time which can be at times annoying. The sweet dish is to be considered. This place can be visited once a while as Sydney provides many options in this area of cuisine.

The reviews for this place didn't make it a promising option to try but took a chance just cause we were passing by. To start with, the restaurant was almost full and despite that we received good service and food on a timely basis. We stuck to ordering dosas and were very happy with our choices from the extensive menu! The dosas, vada, masala, chutneys and sambhar were really great and we were very satisfied with our authentic south Indian filter coffee as well. Can't wait to come back again!
