went to the downshire hotel for a last night meal of our vacation in Northern Ireland and had lunch from the middle week special menu (visited on Tuesday). eating was one of the best we ever had, restaurant had a pleasant ambiente and eating served by amazing employees. what a wonderful way to finish a wonderful holiday in beautiful North Ireland. Thank you. if someone is in the opposite, they must visit this hotel for a meal, especially on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening, if they can have lunch from the middle of the week special. they will not be disappointed and will end the meal times that want to return. cordial gratitude to all in devonshire for a winning combination. we hope...
I had a slight mishap as I was leaving the restaurant to retrieve my glasses from the car - I slipped on the mat by the front door and hurt my shoulder, elbow, and wrist. Fortunately, a kind male waiter assured me he would take care of it. After 15 minutes, I inquired about the situation and he informed me that he had searched for an additional mat but couldn't find one. Another 10 minutes passed and to my surprise, the same waiter appeared with a large roll of blue paper, a mop bucket, and new mats! Despite the incident, our meal was exceptional and the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, working diligently to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Today we have baptized our daughters in the hotel. eating was absolutely amazing everyone was more than full. the staff was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. we go every Sunday to dinner in the last 5 years and not even had we ever had a bad meal service. the restaurant of the first class and the owner pauline and their family could not go out so many nice people. I recommend this hotel u will not be disappointed. many greet again for such a beautiful day xxx
I have had many a drink in this place and always noticed good looking meals being carried to diners so i decided to treat myself to a turkey and ham dinner today I must say i really enjoyed it Was well cooked. Good portions. And very tasty. As good as i have had in other good places doing the exact meal. Same lay out and same vegetable sides. And my pint was in good order and all was served to me by pleasant staff. The price for it all was very reasonable. And i left very contented.

Last minute booking to this really well run restaurant. It was so busy and our last minute call was welcomed and a table ready for us. The menu is extensive and lots to choose to suit all tastes. On Thursday evening there is a special priced menu which is amazing value. The staff are super friendly abs nothing too much trouble. The meal most delicious and portion sizes very good. We will return.
Excellent meal out with family! Service was amazing and food delicious! I cannot fault this place, we arrived on a busy Sunday and staff could not have been more accommodating. The man bringing out the meals was so lovely. Great dining experience even with a lively baby, nothing was a bother to them. Can’t wait to get back
The staff were welcoming and the service was efficient. Despite the busy lunch hour, we were able to snag the last available table. The menu offered a variety of options to choose from. Unfortunately, the chicken burger was lacking, as it was dry and had tough parts in it.
We often visit and have food, it's a lovely family feel pub, the service is fantastic, the prices are great and we have never eaten all the food served. The quality is really good and My family and I would recommend this pub and will be back very soon

had the most enjoyable day yesterday strick’s day. everything excellent . great eating, entertainment and naturally drinks. then to finish it won the rugby all over the world. the enkel had a ball. would highly recommend. will be back.
