The Dukes Head - Réserver une table

This pub is one of the best I have ever been to. The Scottish man who greeted us and showed us to our table was extremely welcoming and friendly. The waitress was quick to bring us some delicious cocktails. Our drinks were promptly served and our food order was taken. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was absolutely incredible. We both ordered the roast dinners, which were cooked perfectly. We were too full to try dessert, as the roast dinners were very filling. The service from all the staff was fantastic, with our waitress, who I believe was also a manager, being professional and engaging. We will definitely be returning next week.

It’s been a few years even though local! since being here, however, thought we would try out the wine and dine offer £100, 3 course and bottle of wine for 2 . Worth every penny. Scallops and steaks were cooked to perfection, and the service was over and beyond. Couldn’t fault a thing. Cannot wait to return for Sunday lunch which we believe is just as good!

Four of us went for dinner, it was the first time for me and my husband! It was incredible, the atmosphere, the food, the staff, it was such an enjoyable evening, although on the more expensive side it was worth it, our waitress didn't miss a trick and joined in with the banter! We will be back!

I went to this restaurant for my birthday and found the staff to be very friendly. The food was of excellent quality. I highly recommend trying the Camembert sharer.

The food was fantastic and reasonably priced! The managers were outstanding and the waitstaff was attentive. We will definitely return.
