"This pub is amazing - they have a wide range of gluten-free options and a great understanding of coeliac disease. I tried the burger and it was delicious. My husband and mother-in-law ordered the fish and chips and the braised oxtail, both dishes were excellent."

We had a family Sunday lunch for five at this restaurant. This was our third visit, but I have not written any reviews yet. I was surprised by the 4.6 review score, as I thought it should be around 4.8+. We were very satisfied with the food and the service. I felt a great teamwork vibe from the waitstaff. This restaurant is a Gastro-Pub that offers a menu that changes regularly and includes many gluten-free (GF) and dairy-free (DF) options. When I visited, they had GF fish and chips and Scotch eggs available. These items were prepared separately to prevent cross-contamination. The staff are knowledgeable about cross-contamination and other allergies. Despite a shortage of personnel due to COVID, the service was excellent.

I went for Sunday lunch and found the restaurant to be very busy. Despite this, they seated us earlier than expected and indicated the gluten-free options clearly. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The roast beef came with a gluten-free Yorkshire pudding, which was delicious. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
