Stopped off here on the way home from Salisbury, where we were working, as we travelled a cross country route back home.What an absolute gem of a pub!We were met with the warmest of welcomes from Jim, his wife and his excellent team, the moment we stepped foot on the premises.Fantastic food, I had an urge for a fish finger sandwich for some reason, off menu, which the very busy kitchen staff prepared superbly for me) good selection of beers,ales,wines etc. Everything a great British pub should be, class, an asset to the area, hope to visit again very soon.

a fantastic pub. traditional character combined with fresh approach to produce a friendly, welcoming pub with great food and drinks. brilliant location with drink on the terrace enjoy the magnificent view a real joy.

great eating, beautiful place with a great view. bring them hat and sunglasses when they sit outside on a sunny day, the esplanade gets a lot of fun.
