The Emerson - Réservation de table

You know those establishments that remain in favour for a while and live off an expensive refit then start to tire. Well, that explains The Emerson. It was trendy when it was newly refurbished, but now it tries to bully itself into relevance. I can remember a few years ago when the hotel was hot and it was fun. Now it is tired; the attitude of the staff is bored; and, as for the bouncers - well they are just wrong. If you are heading out for a good night in Melbourne this is one to steer well clear of. Nothing to recommend it.

We arrived late somewhere between 2-3am!!! Bad music, not a nice atmosphere and appeared very light inside! This would not be somewhere I would have visited normally but we wanted to continue with our night. Out of five of us 2 went home after 20minutes (me included) 3 stayed on for an hour. Drinks were easy to get and we didn't have to pay to get in bonus!!!!

I've been to the Emerson a few times and always had great time. On Friday me and the girl's wanted to do something different and found out that the Emerson does cocktail master classes, it was amazing!!! It was great value for money, loads of fun and the guy behind the bar was so good! When's the next one?

We went to the Emerson for drinks and we ended up dancing a lot. We loved the music. The crowed was also fun. The prices are ok, around 20AUD per cocktail, more or less the same as in other restaurants. I do recommend this as a club experience. The 20AUD entry fee is well worth it. Go have fun ! I've been to the Emerson a few times now and always have had a wonderful experience! So nice to enjoy a delicious cocktail or 2 on the rooftop with an amazing view to the sun going down over the city... also equally as fun to get down on the dance floor in their club downstairs ;)

Always nice to have a couple of drinks on the rooftop and watch the sunset, with great company, good food, fun drinks and a good atmosphere, you wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Invited for Sunday afternoon drinks, we were so impressed with the classy rooftop venue. Big let down yuck, smokers inside and ashtrays on tables, wasn't there a law passed???

Beautiful venue, especially the rooftop, would defiantly recommend a visit, the staff are incredible helpful.
