The good humoured attentive waiting staff provided an excellent service to our party of four at lunchtime on Thursday December. From the opening beer order , a much needed HPA , and the mulled wine we were impressed with the level of service. There...was a consensus about the good quality of the food The ham, egg and chips were fabulous) and the social skills of the staff. Front of house staff made our lunch, after ‘ The Cathedral Christmas Trees’ , a winner. We had a lovely time at the clean, warm venue and appreciated being able to sit comfortably. We’ll be back to make use of our new loyalty card! The staff, especially the delightful Matt and the young lady, Maddi are singled out as ambassadors of the hospitality trade.

century coaching inn in the heart of Worcester. On arrival, we were greeted by the bar staff and shown to our room. The room was nice enough and had a nice view of the buildings across the road which probably date from Tudor times...too. The only mark down I had was the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Beds were very comfy. There was a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The bar had a pretty good selection of beers and the food smelt nice though we didn’t eat there. We only stayed for one night and thought it was good value for money.

Found this by chance as we were looking for somewhere for lunch. What luck. Good atmosphere. We'll cooked food served by friendly staff. We had jacket potatoes. Perfect. Came with a nice salad. All the meals round us being served looked very good. Certainly stop...here when in Worcester again.

had the Sunday roast at this pub while visiting the Worcester Victorian Fayre and despite the premises being very busy the meal was good and the waitresses in their period costume were friendly, helpful , and pleasant making the occasion very enjoyable
