The Fir Tree Country

Rooms: The rooms are small but very comfortable, warm, cosy and very clean a testament to the staff. There is a nice range of tea and coffee options a small television and USB charging ports for guest’s mobile devices. The bed was firm and we had a good night’s sleep on both the nights we stayed. Very good. Food drinks: There is a wide range of breakfast types available from cereals and yoghurts to cooked ‘full English’ varieties. We enjoyed a Full English both mornings and it was excellent. Good quality food, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Special thanks to Allie who was tremendously helpful to me on Sunday morning. Stopped to have a Sunday lunch, a bit late in the afternoon. But the Sunday Lunch carvery was one of the best I have ever. The meat was excellent along with supurb roasts and vegetables that were cooked to perfection. 10/10 for the food, thoroughly recommend.
