I love this fish and chip shop and that says something from one that’s worked in a chip shop over 18 years. Food is always fresh and piping hot and the shop always looks immaculate . Caters for all with a lovely option for people who don’t have/like fish, and portion size is great with reasonable prices. I always ring through my order as they can get quite busy and I’m always greeted with a lovely smile from the lads and young lady. Will always recommend these to everyone who lives in westgate.
One of the best chippys I've been too, portion sizes were ridiculously big and the batter on the fish stayed lovely and crisp...even after staying in the wrapper for 30 mins. We got a kid's meal of Fish bites and chips and no word of a lie, the fish bites were twice the size of your average fish finger, 5 in the portion and my little monster managed 3...but loved each bite. It's very fairly priced and managed to feed 4 people for £20, with enough chips left over to feed another 4. GO EAT HERE!
Been going to the Fish Inn for some time now and I have never been disappointed. Fresh food, cooked to order, super clean place with oodles of free parking in surrounding streets. The Fish Inn is situated on the corner of Lymington Rd and Canborne Ave. Try and avoid early evening on Fri and Sat unless you book your food in advance. They accept cards. No eat in Enjoy your fish supper.... We do every week !
I have been a loyal customer of this fish and chip shop since it first opened. I simply place my order over the phone and can pick it up within ten to fifteen minutes. The food is always hot and cooked to perfection. They are very generous with the portion sizes, sometimes even giving me too many chips. The staff is always friendly and polite. We ordered from there tonight for the first time and it was lovely. The fish was delicious and portion size was brilliant great value for money definitely will go back there again and the service was good especially with what is going on social distancing wise really recommend the fish inn.
What can I say food is always well cooked and the staff friendly. Portions are always generous and waiting time very good even when there busy. A good variety of food to choose from their extensive menu. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fish and chip dinner or lunch
I recently enjoyed the most delicious fish and chips I have ever had. The chips were beautiful and the white, meaty fish had a lovely crisp batter. Everything was served piping hot. I will definitely be recommending this dish to others.
Absolutely fantastic, went last year found it amazing then this year couldn’t remember what the place was called managed to luckily come across it again The food is amazing, fresh very large portions, will definitely visit again Réservez une table maintenant
