Brilliant two night stay at this gem of an Inn. Beautifully peaceful location nestling under the South Downs. David was a superb welcoming host. Great beer and the food was delicious..both dinner and breakfast. Very comfy bed and really good shower. Will go back as so relaxing. Recommend the amazing village shop, the local walks,Petworth House, mooch round Petworth and a boat trip from Itchenor. Go!
So what can I say. This place is absolutely amazing the food was delicious me and my partner had the steak and I tell you now it was the best I've eaten. Our son had the burger and he also very much enjoyed it. absolutely spot on. Also the puddings were amazing too. And the music was so relaxing and beautiful. Staff were so polite and kind. Would definitely return.
The Foresters Arms was a nice walk from our campsite. We stopped here Friday afternoon for drinks and went back Saturday for lunch. The staff were wonderful very polite, friendly and helpful. The garden was a nice area to sit, with a patio laid under the tables so there was not the usual muddy area. The beer was great and the food we ordered was very good and tasty.
Can’t fault a delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere with excellent welcome and staff. Atmosphere was great for a birthday meal with my teenage son convivial, grown up but not stuffy will definitely be returning. Thank you! Réservez une table maintenant
20 min walk from local campsite. Family and dog friendly. The Sunday lunch is the best I have ever had, no lie. Great for veg/vegan too! Sticky toffee pudding broke me, delicious. Will definitely be returning.
Lovely little country pub. Steak-night on a Wednesday with live music. (About £23 each). Nice garden at the back and tables at the front too to watch the world go by. Walkable from Graffham campsite
Very lovely, friendly staff , made us feel very welcome. Roast dinner of generous portions and really good vegetables. Roast potatoes, Cauliflower and Carrot! were exceptional in our opinion.
Such a superb pub, run by the most passionate owners who are always on site. Food was amazing, service very slick and a wonderful ambiance! Réservez une table maintenant
Is it just us, or do other people get overcharged as well? This was just the last in several pubs. Check your bill before you pay.
