I normally come in now and again during the evening for a couple drinks but I decided to have food tonight with the amazing £5 offer for January that is on and I must admit for what you get the offer is fantastic I chose to have the fish expecting it to be a small frozen breaded fish but instead I got a freshly battered fish the size of the plate and more I was amazingly surprised and it tasted lovely the service was speedy by Bailey and I believe my meal was cooked by Betty which came out really quick and very well presented the pub was also very well lit and very cosy and warm which was great as the weather is pretty cold with all the snow Thanks team Foundry
We went to this restaurant because our usual spot was closed. We ordered fish and chips and waited quite a while for our food to arrive. When it did, my husband's dish looked beautiful, but mine was the complete opposite. The batter had slid off the fish and the fish itself was very dry with hardly any fish and a massive amount of batter. I struggled to even chew the little bit of fish that was there as it was extremely tough. I didn't take a picture, as I'm not one to do so. When the server came to clear the plates, he saw the mess on my plate but didn't ask about it. It was clear that my food had not been good.

I walked into my usual pub for a birthday drink and was pleasantly surprised by the special decorations, including balloons, flowers, and Prosecco that the management had arranged for me. It was a nice touch to recognize a regular customer's birthday in such a lovely way. We also ordered some food, which was exceptional and prepared quickly. The chef, Mark, did a great job accommodating our dietary restrictions. We will definitely be returning to this pub.
Went on the refurb opening night. £15.35 for a double Bacardi and a double vodka and a tin of coke as there was no draft. You ain 't gonna last long at those prices. Foundry used to be seen as a cheap local place to go but I did some research and it seems they 're owned by a corporate chain now so that explains the stupid prices. Won 't be back again.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's thirteenth birthday. She wanted to go to a "pub" and had a great time people watching. She has already asked if she can have her 18th birthday party here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were all very helpful. I am looking forward to going back there in the future.
Food choice was extensive.serive by staff especially the lass at the bar was absolutely outstanding.She couldn't have been more helpful attentive.
