The Foundry is a brewpub with a variety of vegan options and many in-house brewed beer offerings. I tried the very tasty mushroom risotto, which was accompanied by vegan garlic toast and a mixed green salad with a mustard dressing. My wife ate the veganized Mediterranean vegetable fajitas, which could feed two people (yes, I got some too) and had a moderately spicy chili-flavored sauce with what tasted like a hint of BBQ sauce. Would highly recommend.
we really enjoyed our visit. we tried the beer flight and the spiritual flight that made fun. the staff was very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed our meal there were many possibilities for vegetarian and carnivores. the stylton and walnut salad was delicious and the bark salad tasted in mouth and was so tasteful. it was busy, so had a good atmosphere, but service and quality were still on site.
This cheese, leek and sweet potato pie might be the best pub grub I've eaten during our three years in England! It was delicious! The service was fantastic one of the servers was always buzzing around to help our table if needed! I was slightly cold inside, but this is a tricky time of year. Oh, and the beer was fantastic! I’ve been several times before, invited three friends to have lunch. As always, the food was excellent, four different things between us, I had the Med Mezze, I’m not a vegetarian but really enjoy that There’s a great choice of beers, light to dark, session to strong, can’t go wrong here! This was the best vegan roast dinner I've ever had! It was absolutely delicious. I also had a Biscoff cheesecake for dessert which was amazing. The staff were lovely, I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Good selection of beers, well worth getting the sampler of 5 to choose a favourite. Ribs were very good as was the sticky toffee pudding. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Canterbury.
Friendly staff great beer and lovely food in a busy but chilled venue. Table was reserved as booked. Service was pretty quick too. 120 words is too many!
