Trying to hit up some places in Scranton, so we gave this a shot. I'll start with the pros... It has a real Mediterranean atmosphere, with pretty cool artwork on the walls. A clean and simple place with bright colored walls and nice white tables. You can smell amazing smells as you walk in. Huge shout out to our server who was super energetic, helpful, and observant... Didn't catch his name though. Anyway, we ordered Vinto to drink (current and mixed berry drink) which was very refreshing. It was not very sweet, just a little, but perfect for a warm day. It was a nice day for out door seating. On the narrow sidewalk. Protesters walking by but, can't change that. The food was ok. We ordered spinach pie, grape leaves, Za'atar fries, hummus, and tabbouleh. We asked for spicy and nothing was. Can deal with that. There was no desert menu. For dessert we had baklava made with Nutella and walnut layers and a rose enfused simple syrup, Turkish coffee, regular coffee. The baklava was very hard, and the rose syrup was not at all a complimentary taste to the desert. The bill was paperless and not itemized, just a total. Service was very good and our waiter Shaun had a great sense of humor and was very upbeat. Not bad but not great.
Unassuming exterior with nicely done restaurant. Quaint place with friendly staff, family owned and good food with quick service. I had the lamb sausage (all food is halal), finished it off with ghirardelli dark chocolate and nutella baklava (not overly sweet) and Turkish tea... tea was a bit diluted but had good traditional taste. I had to add salt to the food but I def like my salt... I will def be back.
First of all, this restaurant is truly accommodating for those on special diets. The menu clearly labels gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The lamb was outstanding, the flatbread pizza was fantastic, and the portion sizes were generous for such reasonable prices. The highlight, however, was the warm welcome from the Greek gentleman who greeted me at the door—it was simply delightful!

I love the garden so much! It is the sweetest place and everyone who works there is so sweet, they will answer all the questions you have and give great upgrades if you want to know what to do in the city. I'm always in Scranton. If you go, you must get the cheese Flatbread, grape leaves and chicken over rice! You won't regret it.
I waited a long time to try this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was attentive even on a busy Friday night, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but the quality is exceptional. I will definitely be returning!
The food was absolutely amazing! I stayed overnight in Scranton and discovered this place near my hotel. The staff was very friendly, and they offered Covid-friendly options. I loved everything we ordered and can't wait to return to Scranton to try more dishes.
