The Garricks Head - Réserver une table

Only pub in Bath still deploying mandatory rather than optional table service and as a result charging an approximate and additional on every pint of beer/other drink as a result. When queried, I was told that all costs have increased and it's their current...policy. Interestingly, no other pubs in Bath have chosen the same path. I'll be avoiding from from now on. Used to be a regular once a week visitor but no longer. Hope they do the maths and realise it's not worth their while. There are plenty of other pubs in Bath with better service and lower prices.

My family and I visited Bath for a few days during half term with our two boys. I was searching for a classy, clean, high-quality English pub with a pleasant atmosphere, and this place definitely fit the bill! The food was fantastic, and the staff were very attentive. While the pub is on the smaller side and may not be ideal for families with young children who like to roam around, it is perfect for couples and older kids. Overall, it's a charming English pub with an excellent menu. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

My family and I went to this restaurant for lunch with our young kids and were greeted with friendly and attentive service. Although there was no specific children's menu, our kids had a great time sharing our main dishes and the extra fries we ordered for them. We all enjoyed the meal, as well as the wine and beer. We only had cash on hand and the restaurant was unable to provide change, but because of the excellent service, we were happy to leave the entire amount as a tip.

Disappointed have visited the Garrick a number of times in the past and had great food. On this ocasión was “disappointed “ had to Sunday roast offer. I accept it was after five but the quality of their offering was poor veg overdone, roast veg...had been kept warm a long time and the roast potatoes also been held a long time and were firm and dried out. Maybe I should have wondered why the place was quite.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roast. The vegetarian option was unique and absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Indi, was fantastic - friendly, attentive, and really enhanced our dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
