Visited today for Sunday lunch, and this was exceptional, I had the roast beef, which was cooked to perfection, fell apart like ham. The gravy was flavoursome and rich, lovely roast potatoes, the yorkshire puddings, need to be seen to be believed, go and see for yourself, cauliflower cheese was flavoursome and punchy. My partner had the lamb, which was just as good. Great service and value for money, and efficient staff. Get yourselves down for a Sunday roast, if you are in the area guys. Don't take our word for it.
The brilliant team at The G&D put on an amazing evening last night. They looked after everyone so well. The food was plentiful and of great quality. The veggie option was the best I have ever tasted. The star of the night was obviously the very talented Pete Webb as Elvis who entertained everyone in great abundance. What’s a star! Thanks for a fantastic evening. We will return!
Celebrated my brother’s 60th birthday here. Couldn’t fault it. Service was great; we weren’t at all rushed; food was really good and great value; nice atmosphere thoroughly enjoyed it. Pub has been renovated recently and looked lovely and Christmassy. Would totally recommend for a family gathering. We will be back. Thank you to the team. Nothing was too much trouble.

Vegetables cooked to perfection, and the cauliflower cheese was beautiful. The Yorkshire puddings have to be seen to be believed. My partners lamb was the same. So if you are in the area give this a visit. Exceptional.
