The George at Baldock

Three people are two had a very good meal one had an average meal expensive in comparison to local competitors who serve a similar meal which is tastier and better value . Service was polite but not efficient, had to ask more than once for drinks or sauces with the meal despite excess staff and a quite restaurant a bit of a shame . As could of been an excellent review with a little bit of attention to detail

Haven't been here for ages but decided to try Sunday lunch. Very well Covid organised with one way system and good cleaning and hygiene practices. Roast beef was excellent -generous portion and slightly pink. The roast potatoes and vegetables were all nicely cooked and presented. Partner had something from the main menu which was also very good.

Sadly wrong starters and a main were sent, which ruined the experience, but goodwill to make up for it was great at the end! Some dishes are rather overpriced. Cocktails were fab!

Had a starter each which we shared , calamari and qroquette duck , both delicious , steak done to perfection , good size portions and brilliant waitress called Belinda xx Réservez une table maintenant

Went a few months ago promised to review - sorry its been so long! LOVED IT! Services was great - food was great - NOT a cheap eat but I was being treated

I almost walked right out of this hotel when I discovered that they had no parking and they are plum center in downtown of this quaint little town.

Baldock has changed quite a bit since I was a resident! One of the changes I'm liking is the new coffee shops, butchers and gastro pubs popping up.

This place is really run down now. Staff on their iPhones most of the time... Réservez une table maintenant
