A group of us met at the Long Room for dinner and drinks to celebrate a birthday. The drink list is very good, a nice range of cocktails and a large collection of spirits. We were there on a Saturday, with $11 cocktails and $6 basic spirits until 9pm which certainly fuelled us for the night!We also dined on a selection of the tapas on offer. Service was quick and the food very good. We were initially unimpressed by the menu (chicken nuggests, fish finger sliders) but after order ordering and eating, can't really fault the work of the chefs.A great bar, which was quite busy by the time we left, one which I'm sure we'll visit again.
Went early on a friday night.Booked prior but when we got there, nobody came to show us our table, so we seated ourselves at a reserved table assuming our booking. The gruff hostess came over and ordered us to move and ushered us to the reservations counter-they had no record of the booking! We were then directed to another table where poor service and average food followed. Good music but totally unimpressed with the rude and inhospitable attitude of the wait staff! Who says dining is all about the food?
Great food and ambience. I have visited The Long Room on a couple of occasions for team dinners. Never disappointed. Service is great, location is convenient and the food is varied and flavoursome with a good mix across Asian, Greek, Italian to name a few. Price is reasonable. Each time the team has opted for tapas, however if not going tapas their are some great looking dishes in the standard menu. Tapas is around $37.00 per person which compares well to other restaurants.
We were looking for a place to go before a show at the Regent and this was one of the recommendations. We were so impressed, the staff were all happy and attentive and tapas were all amazing from the home made dips with ample bread, to the dumplings and mini wagyu burgers. The peanut butter icecream sandwich is a must! Sorry the picture doesn't do it justice. Our favorite of the night was the Caramel Expresso Martini, the best ever!!

It is loud and a bit too hectic to say I would want a sit down meal, but it is great place to relax, have a dance, mix with friends and enjoy a cocktail (or several). It is great to have the dumpling bar for when the nibbles strike! The music mix was fantastic and had the crowd really enjoying the fun vibe. Bouncers and door staff were really nice! Our group was a mixed age group and all of us enjoyed the Long Room.
Went to Garden State for a short while before adjourning here. Heard it was "the place" a while back. Each new joint opening upsets the incumbent almost every 8 to 12 months. Decor is fantastic; personalised service great - young, cheerful polite crew. Low-key music on weekdays. Tapas - chicken bites , beer really good. We could talk business with good food and ambience without having to shout. Highly recommended.
sat with mates on Friday night. was able to get a table on a lively Friday evening without prior booking. we ordered a lot of execution, but the gay was far from standing out. must visit again.
Loving the tapas night. Scallop are really awesome. Just if you can bring the old Crispy Pork belly back, was 1000 times better before ! If not really awesome

In a quality setting, dim and private, they provide quality tapas as well as a la carte. Specials on some weeknight. Highly recommended.
Caramel espresso martini... 110% must try. Food was good, cocktails were great. Service definitely could've been better.
