I've been here for years, but the pandemic hat and never came in. I finally ate here this weekend. We ordered the tomato soup, the grilled cheese with frits, and the pig bell. The food portions were small but sufficient. The food as a whole was nothing special. I expected so much more in the type of taste, quality and quantity. The pig bell was actually quite bland. I wanted mine to be served with scrambled eggs and the waiter said it was cooked with fried eggs. I just asked that the eggs aren't casual. The waiter said it wasn't served like that. Everyone recommends coming here, and we are so glad we visited. The food is eclectic, so fun to taste new and different things. There is something for everyone, and we could come too late without a reservation. The staff was extraordinary for me and my friends, who was so inviting. Also the manager Randy was a gem chatted with us until we were the last table, and never rushed. Cookies in the end were a treat to get back to the hotel (thank you)! Taste one of the must-see restaurants in Sonoma. The surroundings are cozy and friendly, food is excellent. This was our first time there and all our suggested dishes servers are well prepared and delicious. The tomato salad (sorry I forgot the name) is amazing and you can taste the freshness of the tomatoes! Wine is also good as we are in Sonoma. But remember to make reservations before you go as they are too crowded on weekends and I don't think you can go and get a place.
Came for lunch today. Try the cauliflower steak and mushroom tartine. Wow both were great! They were some other vegan or veg modified to vegan dishes. You eat bread. I asked if it was milk or eggs and she said it wasn't vegan. After I came home, I sent note to the restaurant and asked for bread and they said it was vegan. So I wonder.
