As Chester's first micro pub ,The Goat Munch is a must go destination for my twin brother Stephen and I whenever we make a trip to the historic historic walled city of Chester. I love the look of this pub ,set up in a former electronic appliance repair shop,the interior is rustic, the serving bar is constructed from wooden pallets ,eclectic decor and furnishings, lots of photos adorning the walls,twinkling lights and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a great pub to unwind in. LOVE this place. It's small, informal and friendly. No matter when you visit, it's like walking into someone's front room and the welcome is amazing. Before leaving you will feel like you know everyone in there. Great choice of beers. fantastic concept- perfectly executed. Definately recommend anyone visiting Chester calls in to try this place. So much more character than a faceless chain pub x

I recently visited the Goat and Munch for the second time and I absolutely loved it! The beer selection was great, the landlord was friendly and knowledgeable about beer, and the locals were welcoming. Although I wish this place was my local, I'm also glad it's not. I will definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chester.

I visited here for the first time this weekend, and what a great find. Good beer, nicely done out, friendly atmosphere. What more can you want? Worth mentioning that it doesn't serve food, but when I was there a couple asked if they could bring in their own food and the landlord was happy to oblige (they were drinking his beer). I am a fan of the micro pubs popping up everywhere at the min and this one is a great pub. Was made to feel welcome straight away with the locals and bar men chatting with us. The bar has a real cool look to it and is clean and tidy. The beers are cracking as well. Big winner in my book. Will go again.

Off the beaten track, a good 10 minute walk from town in the students area. A small friendly micro pub with some nice ales on. Unfortunately, it was closing at 10pm so we only had time for a quick drink, but would definitely go back, it's worth finding!

I frequently visit this restaurant, and they always have a great variety of ales to choose from, which change regularly. The bar is small, friendly, and well-managed. It's a fantastic place!

This charming pub has delightful staff and regular customers. The selection of beers is exceptional and always changing. Hands down my favorite pub in Chester.

Fantastic locals bar. I will stop in every time I’m in town. Staff are very friendly and k kw their beer.
