The Golden Goose

One of the women working behind the carvery has a right attitude! Wouldn’t even let me put a bit of veg and mash on a baby plate for my 9 MONTH OLD!! After we had brought 4 carvery’s and visit this pub at least once a month with the whole family, absolutely disgusting treatment! Veg was also undercooked and the mash didn’t even taste like mash! Last month we couldn’t even bite into the roast potatoes. After tonight we will find another pub to take our family! Real shame as some of the staff are lovely, especially Donna. The way I was treated tonight, we will not be returning.

The carvery was super tasty and the friendly staff went to great lengths to make it a special birthday for my wife. It's obvious why The Golden Goose has been successful in our town for so many years. We will order again, thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
