I received a gift card to the Divine Bar in Sparkill for my birthday last summer. I called a few weeks later to make a reservation and was told that it temporarily closed for renovations, but would soon open again. When it was reopened, it temporarily called Cantina. I went there with my gift card and was told that it was under new ownership, but that the previous owner, Joe, still in the wine store next door and would honor the gift card there. I have been searching for a particular cream liqueur and maple bourbon for the past two years that is produced in Vermont that is not sold in Virginia. After a bit of research...I was told that Grape D'Vine sold it. As luck would have it they only had one bottle in stock and it was promised to another customer. After having a delightful conversation with the owner, Joe, he was not only willing to place a special order for me and ship to Virginia he also provided me the contact information of another supplier that had what I was looking for in stock and could ship sooner. This place is an absolute jewel. It is the Platonic ideal of a local small company and I cannot count the number of amazing (and quite expensive) bottles I have brought home from TGDV. Joe is the best and the community they created around this store is great. Go here and you never go back to another wine shop.

Each bottle in the shop was healed by the owner and by the staff. Basically, you can't get a bad bottle. The ambience is brilliant with a faux vaulted wooden ceiling as if you were in a huge wine barrel. Friendly staff and great mood. Go.

Large selection of wine. Staff and owners always make you welcome. They are super friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to recommend wine for every occasion. The best place to buy wine in the area!
