The menu at this restaurant is excellent with a great fusion of flavors. We dined with friends and everyone found something they enjoyed. One of my friends ordered an appetizer salad, while her husband got the crispy salmon entree. My husband opted for a burger, and I chose sushi. The service was attentive and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere is cool and has a quirky, moody, intimate glam feel to it. I have been here for both lunch and dinner and had great experiences at both times. Overall, dining in was a great experience.
On Friday night, the restaurant was lively with a bustling bar and old movies playing above it. The special cocktail of the night was a delicious coconut Mojito. Two of us opted for sushi while the other two tried the Michigan Cherry salad. One of our friends added ribeye to her salad, and there was also a tasty leek soup available. I have visited this place multiple times and always had a great meal. I highly recommend ordering the sushi as it is always fresh and creatively prepared.
I really enjoyed my meal while my husband liked the salad. The vegan rolls were noticeably smaller than the non-vegan ones. They do offer a vegan burger, although it appeared to be served on a Brioche bun (which typically contains eggs, although I did not inquire). They were willing to provide a substitute, which is a nice option to have, especially when dining in a remote location.
We had a great experience at this restaurant on Thursday night, enjoying delicious smoked Old Fashioned cocktails and sushi. The wait staff was excellent and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful. We will definitely return when we are in the area again, as we found it to be a great value for the price.
