The Great House - Réservation de table

Should have been very good, BUT.... Went here with some friends who strongly recommended the special steak option, which they had had before were looking forward to again. They had it but my wife and I didn't, preferring to try something different. Their steaks arrived we could immediately tell they weren't as expected. Apparently they were tough didn't have much flavour. We commented on this to the waiter, who apologised continued with our meal. My wife my choices were much better. At the end of the meal, the waiter brought us the bill told us that the whole group of restaurants had returned their steaks to their suppliers! I checked the bill saw that we had been charged full price for ours...

Really great experience for my husband's birthday lunch. Friendly and professional service. The best food and menu selection we've ever experienced at a pub and such a beautiful place too. It was a bit more expensive than we would normally spend but we were happy considering the quality and occasion. We hadn't been here before but so glad we did, we'll be back when we have another special occasion to celebrate. Thank you! Price per person: £30–40

I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant today. The mushroom toast appetizer was delicious with great bread and tarragon flavor. The pumpkin risotto and crumble with mincepie ice cream were perfect for the autumn season. The service was friendly and helpful. The pub has a cozy atmosphere and is dog friendly. The price per person is between £50-60. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5 out of 5.

Great food, really good service. Quite pricey but not excessive. Had the squash and blue cheese starter which was really delicious, the chicken kebab main which was really fun, and the grilled veggies were perfect. The crumble dessert was good, but needed more actual crumble. Also one minor criticism, the electric vehicle charger out front is brilliant...if it works, which it didn't. Fantastic venue for food. Staff all very helpful and polite. Food was fantastic, couldn't fault what we had at all. Service was very fast, though it was quiet when we went (a Monday lunch time). Would love to visit again on pizza night, as they have an open area for the chefs to prep and cook them in the pizza oven. Sufficient parking at both the front and rear of the restaurant. Price per person: £20–30

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Our waiter, who was Romanian, was fantastic - very friendly and provided great service. We would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
