we wanted to take our young ones to birthday because he loves planes. we saw the evaluation of the restaurants in emerils florida evaluation and looked great. we arrived and it took one because to put us what is in order, although not busy. we sat outside and our young man loved watching the planes. the chicken pliers for children were great, eating altogether well. salates very basic I must say a bit dissapointing, but the fish tacos were good. overall it was okey, but I need to give the restaurant low rating, as the service was terrible, slow and the waitress was not very friendly. The chicken tenders for kids were excellent, and the food overall was good. However, the salads were quite basic, which was a bit disappointing. The fish tacos, on the other hand, were tasty.
While the experience was decent, I have to give the restaurant a low rating due to the poor service. It was slow, and our waitress wasn’t very friendly. I truly wanted to love this place, and we did enjoy watching the airplanes, but the food was just okay and the service left much to be desired.
Fun place for watching the small flight activity in this small airport, with view of the water also. but it is essentially a diner, and quite loud. it was okay for a bit of fun, and maybe a good place to go with kids, but we were disappointed by eating. I had a brie queensadilla and the tortilla had crumbled in that which were not so advertised and I didn't like it. my man wasn't crazy about his sandwich, but I liked it. it was okay as a diner.
Our table was right near the kitchen door which was a bad location. We were also near the singer which was a little loud. It took quite a while for a server to come to our table initially, but the service after that was fine. Two of us enjoyed our meals, however, the fish tacos that came out looked like they had been sitting for awhile- not very hot and the sauce had congealed.

the best thing was that the planes get out. When we arrived at dinner, there was a live music that had to play. it was too loud to sit in the inner, so we finally moved out and it was much better. call ahead to reserve an outside table. the planes that land off/off are the attraction for this place. the eating was good not great. very casual. children liked it.
Every time we visit St. Petersburg, we make a stop at The Hangar. This is a casual place in which you can eat casual food in a nice setting. The highlight is obviously to watch small planes depart and land, but the food is great as well! Never had bad service either!! Always a must stop for our family!
A fun evening evening listening to our friends Liz Pennock and Dr Blues. Our meal was wonderful and Ryan our waiter was exceptional!!!!!!!! Sat outside and shot some great pics. Went inside for music and food. We loved it and loved all the staff we met. Beth and Kirk
Had reservation at 5:45. Arrived on time. told they didn't take reservations on Mahaffey night, web site was wrong, going to be fixed some day. Waited 25 minutes for table, misses 7:00 mahaffey event. Waitress and food good.

Food was good and prices were reasonable. Normally the view would have been of the airport and the bay but they were staging for the race. The grand stands obstructed the view.
