"The staff was rude. The cafe was empty, but we were told to move to a different area because they wanted to keep "that" area clean. A family of eleven was not able to sit together due to poor customer service. I would recommend avoiding this place."

Anglian Water, you should be ashamed of the excuse for a cafe that you have. I visited yesterday and ordered two hot chocolates and a slice of cake, which cost £10.09. The service was incredibly slow, even though the place wasn't busy. The hot chocolate was served lukewarm in a cup, which is unacceptable for a price of £3.30. You are charging extortionate prices for mediocre quality. For example, a tuna melt costs £7.99 at your cafe, while at Zebras Den in Oundle, you can get a tuna melt panini, packet of crisps, and a coke for £6 with top-notch ingredients. I recommend avoiding this place unless you enjoy waiting.

The restaurant was very crowded on a sunny Sunday, so we had to wait for a while. I ordered the tomato basil soup, which I initially thought sounded boring, but it turned out to be delicious. My husband has celiac disease, and was impressed with the variety of gluten-free options available. He had a jacket potato, which was a good portion size. Despite being very busy, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also dog-friendly. We sat on the balcony with a beautiful view overlooking Rutland Water. Overall, a lovely experience.

I arrived on a cold wet day from walking with my two small dogs five minutes before they were due to close. The warmest of welcome awaited me even though they were washing down to close they made me a warm coffee and told me not to rush but drink and warm up The manager explained about the car parking time for closure so I didn’t get caught out and a lovely flat white coffee warmed me before I continued my walk It’s this type of excellent customer service that means you will definitely be back Thankyou

Looking for a dog-friendly location for a walk and lunch for a family reunion mid-way between Lincoln and Bedford. Email sent to ParksInfo on 23rd Dec enquiring if cafe would be open the week after Christmas, and prompt reply yes it would be. On a blustery day the venue was very welcoming and snug. The hog-roast stuffing baguettes, baked potatoes and grilled sandwiches were all excellent, and for a surprisingly busy period at the cafe, service was very swift. We loved the visit.
