This restaurant is charming both inside and out. I have visited twice and found that the atmosphere was the highlight of my experience each time. However, on both visits, a few years apart, I found the service to be only moderately polite and not very attentive. The food is decent, but nothing exceptional that sets it apart from other restaurants. I have tried numerous breakfast spots in the Wheaton area, and this is likely my least favorite in terms of the food quality. The gluten-free pancakes were disappointingly thick and tough, some of the worst I have ever had.
I had expected to take a cup of coffee, but when I asked the waitress about vegan options, she told me that she herself is vegan. she said they can make everything on the menu vegan. it was really crowded so I had no chance to go through the menu and ask how to customize certain menu items. I just ordered the tofu scoop with a coconut milk latte. It was pretty good. I will go back soon and make sure that the vegan options are consistent.
they have a vegan and gluten-free menu, but there are just like 2 vegan options. I ordered an Açaí bullet, but the waitress looked at me as if she had never heard it before and immediately said they hadn't. When I told her that I was vegan, she offered me yogurt with obsess or iron and speck. at the end I have the Tofu Scrambler, who was not so bad, but also wasn't the best.

Our server never refilled our waters, nor offered to. When I said my drink was too sugary (I asked for unsweetened matcha latte and it was very sweet) she just said sorry and didn’t offer to exchange it. Other than the disappointing service, I liked the pleasant patio and the food was good and good options. I’d go back if I could have a different server.
cute and stone. air pure. exterior tables. has potential. but uneducated employees tried to offer cage-free eggs on any vegan plate including tofu cubes. Do not forget to order kartoffels with their tofu cube. I found dead pig in my vegan plate
Love the Hen House! And it doesn't have to be a special occasion. We have never had a bad dish or experience. Get your tail feathers on over to the henhouse, and if there's a wait wait, it's worth it.Food: 5/5
This restaurant has a bustling atmosphere and a great vibe. Depending on the time you go, you may have to wait a long time for your food. Overall, I had a great experience. I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

Ordered the California Benedict. Eggs were closer to hard-boiled and the bacon was undercooked (rubbery) and grey-ish (see pics)! Further, didn’t see one employee smile, including the server.Food: 1/5
Great service and even better food! Preserves for the toast was delicious as well as the eggs benedict!
