If you're looking for a place to celebrate a birthday or event, AND have an excellent meal this is the place to go! Went here with a group of 10 people and we all ordered the banquet. The food was amazing and there was more than enough to feed everyone to bursting point! They were very easy to work with around dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian, allergies).
I was expecting more from Himalayan Kitchen based on the reviews. The service and the atmosphere were good however, the food was definitely not fresh. There was an appetizer bought out that looked and tasted old. The mains were okay flavor wise however I also doubt these were cooked fresh either. Overall a fairly disappointing experience.
The ambience is good, gives the traditional Nepalese feeling, but the food is not that great. Momos are ok, goat curry was not good, Dahl was very flat and bland. The food quantity is also very less. Not up to the mark for Nepalese or Asian guys. I loved the Gulabjamun though, but it's too expensive compared to anywhere else.
We had such a beautiful dinner here! Amazing food and the vibe is so natural and enjoyable. A lovely chef came out to chat, share his knowledge and showed us how to use traditional singing bowls and how to use the shell instruments. Highly recommend visiting for the experience and the delicious food. Réservez une table maintenant
Great food, great service & great wines. There were plenty of vegetarian options and all the food was excellent. The food was spicy without being too hot and while the restaurant is BYO, they have a great wine and beer list so we didn't bother with corkage!
If you like Indian food, but sick of seeing menus with the same old stuff, then this is for you The menu wasn't very expansive, but what was on there was top notch. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful.
First time here and I wish I could take this restaurant back to Victoria. My whole family enjoyed the food and left nothing on our plates. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks.
