The Hole In The Wall

After a long walk around London we made our way to Waterloo station. Train was 30 mins away so we decided to go for a drink. We passed by this pub so many times and we were pleasantly surprised. Drinks are well cheap considered the area on south bank there are pop up bars where they charge you £10-£15 for ONE COCKTAIL in plastic cup, yes, you’ve got the view but I mean…that’s a rip off). Service was quick, all sorts of people were there. 2 rooms, one on the left when you walk in, another one in front of you which is bigger and there’s a garden where you’re free to smoke. Definitely loads of characters but we enjoyed it!

This was my first visit to this pub and I 'm so pleased I finally went. A proper pub, reasonable prices, not too loud so we could all hear each other. Just what a London pub used to/should be. Only reason I haven 't given it an 'excellent ' rating is the bar staff were a bit miserable.

Best pub in London by a long way. Staff extra competent and friendly and amazing selection of beers, great atmosphere. Been going there for 20+ years and never had a bad night. Picking up after lockdown and so glad its survived

a nice n lively pub. good selection of fish n chips with ravages, pommes tartar sauce was ingenious you can see football game also on big screen. directly next waterloo tube station. a good place to relax. pocket-friendly.

This pub is excellent. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I would definitely visit again when in the area. It is conveniently located in central Waterloo. I give it 5 stars.

Fantastic food and great service, came with some friends that came to visit me from outside of London was lovely great atmosphere and the ower was so lovely defo will come again

Just had a couple of pints in this pub, the service at the bar was appalling. The barman with the beard was rude and impolite swearing loudly.

Good range of beers let down by the poor service. I have visited several times but the service never improves. Won’t be going again.

The owner is a racist and insulted me and my friends. Do not go here. He uses racial slurs and hate speech
