The Hoxon Kitchen - Réservation de table

Went there yesterday and found the experience a rushed. We were harassed into ordering with no time to look at the drinks menu to decide what we wanted. Then a waitress came over and mumbled something to us, the only thing we heard was, ‘do you want another drink?’. We decided to ordered another drink which seem to annoy the waitress as we were both still trying to work out want it was all about. The drinks arrived, after 5 mins or so to our disbelief the bill arrived. We thought maybe it was closing time but it was only 9:22! Nether less we carrying on with our drinks, only to find the staff packing away! In conclusion it was not a relaxing experience and will not want to come back because...

We went to the Bear for a Mother's Day treat for my lovely Mum whom is 90 yrs young,somehow when I called to book the table it wasn't written down when we arrived they didn't have a table for the five of us,but the manager was so good quickly managed to sort a table out for us without to much trouble, the meal was outstanding, so delicious,the staff were busy but attentive,my Mum had a wonderful time, we would definitely recommend go back there again

I booked a table here on a recommendation. But very disappointed. Food nothing special not good value for money .I was not aware the pub had been taken over in December .I looked on Web site to see the food they did not have any of what I wanted on there menu apparently the site still has old menus from previous owners very disappointed will not return .they need to update web site to let people know

Lunch and a pint with my brother for his birthday. We had burgers which took an age to arrive, and they weren't worth the wait. Both the food and the beers were miles over priced more like London West End prices, without the experience of the West End. Most restaurants (and this is really just a pub that does food) are cheaper than this place. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Réservez une table maintenant

Had Mothers' Day lunch here with my mum. The roasts were absolutely amazing great portion sizes, loads of gravy and everything was cooked well. The Biscoff cheesecake was to die for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere too nicely busy, without being absolutely packed in. Our food arrived pretty quickly. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Completely surprised about how good The Bear is. On previous visits to Camberley, I 've seen their streetside signs offering a 'Man Crêche ' for busy shoppers and assumed the worst. Inside it 's attractively arranged and outside has spread out over the pavement yet is well covered...

Stopped for a beer in the sunshine! Very friendly staff, casual, relaxed. Good selection of lagers available on draft. Table next to us had food which looked amazing and there were no left overs so must have been good

Stopped here on a saturday afternoon for a few drinks and some food. Food was really good great size portions and the staff were happy to banter, and attentive just how a great British pub should be!! Well done! Réservez une table maintenant

Food service is slow and food isn’t great. Could do better with a better attitude and friendliness towards customers. Felt unwelcome

My daughter in law and grandson had a wonderful lunchtime meal. The oak smoked salmon salad was amazing. Definatelly go back.
