The Inn Kitchen Farmhouse Bistro

This is a great little gem in Marine City. While their dining room is small and subtle, don't let that distract you from checking it out. The food is outstanding and the people are even better. I have rarely, if ever, been more impressed with the staff at any restaurant, but anyone who enters will see the true family atmosphere and vibe that this establishment has developed. I don't understand why this restaurant has so many 5-star reviews because I definitely don't agree with them. My wife and I ordered chicken piccata and a Cobb salad. The soup or salad that came with the meal was a chicken soup for me, which was mostly broth with very little chicken. I had to ask the waitress where my soup was after waiting for ten minutes. When my meal arrived, the chicken was so rubbery that I couldn't even cut it. My wife's salad was also very small. The waitress said she would speak to the manager, who ended up taking half off my meal price. The chicken piccata is $17 and they only took off $7. The menu at Bistro 428 is extensive, offering everything that was available at the original location in terms of sandwiches and salads, while also adding a variety of wraps and traditional plated dishes including burgers and the exceptional pastas. I was glad to see that my favorite Bologna Sandwich from the original menu was still available. The expanded Italian menu is a welcome addition to the already excellent dining scene in Marine City, and I have high hopes for the success of Bistro 428 in its new location. We will definitely be returning soon.

Stopped there while doing a stop in Marine City and saw on-line that they were supposed to be good . Two major problems. #1. I didn’t get any napkins nor a fork for my pasta salad on a carry-out . #2 . I have to drive from Harrison Twp to Marine City at least once a week to get REAL food ! Why can’t they be near me ??? Awesome .

Used Bistro 428 to cater my daughter graduation party. AMAZING. From the minute you speak to Nan on the phone, right down to the food ...feels like home. The food and atmosphere are perfect. Always helpful and willing to work with special needs or concerns. highly recommend eating and using Bistro 428 anytime!

Our hotel room was perfect in every way! The decor is stunning and the views are amazing. Our puppy enjoyed being able to walk on the balcony and roam freely in the room. We are grateful to the owners for providing such a unique and enjoyable experience. There are not many hotels like this one.

So excited they finally have normal hours! I’ve been craving the tandoori sandwich for months but decided to switch it up for the chicken pub club. I was not disappointed! Great food, great people, great prices I highly recommend Bistro 428.
