This was our first visit to the restaurant and we were impressed with their attention to COVID cleaning procedures and detail. Despite being fussy eaters, all six of us were able to find something to eat (even though the restaurant is known for its fish dishes). The starters were delightfully surprising and the mains were amazing, all served piping hot and quickly. Even my picky wife, who is particular about certain foods, said it was the best meal she could remember in a long time. The staff were great and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future. This experience really says it all.
We ordered the sharing platter for two priced at £40 per person. After struggling to crack open all the shells, we were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. To our surprise, there was a £13 service charge added to the bill when we paid by card, which we later found out was an optional tip. We did not appreciate this sneaky tactic. Although the staff were friendly, the food was disappointing and the experience of the large tip trick ensures that we will not be returning.
We had such a lovely meal here, there was a great atmosphere and our food was very very good. At the end of the meal, we found it hard to get our bill as it was busy but it’s such a tiny thing and we thought the waiters were lovely and so hard working! Would recommend to everyone.
Fish is very good its a great little restaurant for seafood in liverpool. The wine selection was not amazing but I am probably picky when it comes to wine so not necessarily their fault. Staff super friendly. I wouldnt go for fish in liverpool anywhere else.

The Simply the Best seafood restaurant in Liverpool, located in the northwest of England, offers excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic, leaving us with only positive thoughts about our meal.
When we walked in the restaurant it looked busy had a real buzzing atmosphere, we were taken upstairs where it was much quieter, in fact after 15 minutes of us being there we were the only ones dining. Food was nice but total lack of atmosphere
Quality of the various fish wish we all enjoyed was very good. Four different dishes but much enjoyed. Lobster with spaghetti in a rich tomato sauce was my choice and not disappointed. Thank you so much for a lovely dinner. Will be back.
Our first visit will gladly go back. Food cooked to perfection, staff very friendly. Great wine available. Would recommend to friends family.

Waiter very helpful with Menu pushed special which I chose squid ink pasta which was excellent, wii return very soon thank you all.
