We have seen The Jolly Miller and walked past it most days of the week on the way to Woolies for the past few months, today we decided to give it a go for breakfast, what a good decision. We had noticed prior to visiting that the cafe/coffee shop is very popular and very contemporary in design and layout. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, we were seated very quickly and the waiter was there within a couple of minutes with our menus and table water, he took our coffee order and when he returned within five minutes with the coffee, we ordered our breakfast. My wife ordered the TWISTED BENEDICT (Poached eggs on grilled potato and rosemary bread, spinach, tomato granny’s apple, grilled...
So was treated to Sunday brunch here a few weeks ago .First t8me but certainly won’t be the last Had the sweet potatoes firtters Yumm to all the elements some tips though have the relish on the side that way the fritter stays crispy And...if you add bacon then share with someone else as the servings are very generous The eggs Benedict looked amazing and th shakes we had wonderful too although I though the coconut water one was a meal in itself .Coffee wa a little late coming however I will forgive them their sins as the whole experience was excellent Thank you
My breakfast experience last Sunday, January 31st, was not a good one. We ordered our food and received it quickly, but unfortunately, my wife found a long black hair in her meal. This was the second time this has happened, as we had a takeaway meal during last year's lockdown in Melbourne and also found a hair in that meal. We returned the meal and complained, but it seems that the restaurant has not improved their food preparation hygiene as it happened again. When we looked into the kitchen, we noticed that the chef/cook was not wearing a hairnet.
Despite being in a major shopping centre, the Jolly Miller Café at Williams Landing has a great atmosphere and an open, sunny aspect good for summer and winter. The staff are excellent, especially the manager who is personable and friendly and has superb customer skills. The café has a great menu and really nice coffee (their own blend, locally roasted). I was a bit of a regular here for a few months, before I moved. But I still make the effort to go back occasionally because it's just that good! Réservez une table maintenant
Hi. I have been to this cafe a few times now and they never have a paper. They told me blank they do not provide them. 90 percent of coffee shops provide one, but not this one. I come for coffee and convenience but I am sick of buying my own. It's the one thing I enjoy on a regular basis and as a customer I see it as a given. The food and coffee is good and this coffee shop is popular. So popular and successful I cannot see why they can't be generous. We do read in the Western suburbs !
I had a great experience with the service at this restaurant. The staff were attentive and eager to assist, despite the busy crowd. I ordered a simple breakfast of toast and coffee, but was pleasantly surprised when they also offered me cold water along with my silverware and extra butter for my toast. The strawberry and rhubarb jam was delicious, along with the good quality coffee. Overall, the prices were reasonable and I was satisfied with my meal.
I have been frequenting this restaurant for a year now and the quality is consistently top-notch. The staff is friendly, service is fast, and the food and coffee are always delicious. I highly recommend it. I have tried other cafes in the area, but none can compare to Jolly. The prices are typical for Melbourne, not cheap but reasonable for the city.
Looking for somewhere different after being to most places in Point Cook/Laverton. Alamanda is our go to place. The food was a good size, well presented and tasty. Coffee hit the mark, if not a touch strong (but that’s my taste). Staff where friendly and...attentive and there was a great buzz. Will be back. Réservez une table maintenant
