The Keg Steakhouse & Bar

Four of us celebrating a birthday dinner. We all had steak or prime rib done to perfection and really enjoyed their warm bread service and the Caesar salad. I had called ahead for a birthday cake but they only deliver a piece of a mocha flavor ice cream 'pie.' I thought it was coming with a sparkler and a little 'fanfare' but I was mistaken. It was simply delivered to the table with 4 forks before anyone even took our dessert order. A little disappointing after a $250 meal. Delicious though! Next time however a different restaurant for less money and a little more celebration!

There were 6 of us who went for supper. The service was good, the food was good as well. With 6 people, usually 1 persons meal isn't that great. Not the case here. Everyone's meal came at the same time and tasted good. I never gave 5 stars because the menu is very expensive. The cheapest entrée was $29. A basic meal, no soup or salad. We got 2 little loaves of bread at the beginning. If 2 people dine they get 1 loaf. If 4 people dine they get 2 loaves . I thought we should have gotten 3 loaves . Other than that, it was a nice family supper.

Sat in the lounge on busy Saturday nite. Service was terribly slow......tables seated quite a while after us had received their appies and finished them before ours arrived. We were just about to walk out after our cocktail was finished and sitting empty on the table waiting for appie.......when our service came. So we stayed.. food was ok. Lounge was loud and conversation was tough but again busy place. Other places to check out in Stoon and won't be back soon.

Friends came in from out of town and suggested The Keg for a nice outing to eat and visit as had not seen them in awhile. We had a hard time hearing each other to visit as it is an open room and sound really carries from other tables. The food was ok but not worth the price that was paid for it. There are lots of other choices in the city where you can carry a conversation and get great food. Réservez une table maintenant

Hands down one of the best places for steak in Saskatoon. This place never disappoints. From their salads, to sides, to choices of meat, it's all delicious. The service is courteous and fast. The prices are very reasonable and they give you a free dessert on your birthday (i'd recommend the creme brulee!). Whenever my husband and I are in the mood for steak, we always end up back at the Keg.

The steaks are top notch perfect, very tasty and tender. Prime rib melts in your mouth and the Horseradish makes your eyes water as it is so powerful, ( I use 1/2 tsp on each small bite) We had asked our our waiter what the person beside us was eating. He said it was prime rib 25 ounces, not on the menu , but you can ask for it. WHAT!!

Still like this restaurant, just not as good as it used to be. The portions are smaller but the prices are higher. The quality of the food is good, but not great especially for the cost. With all the places to eat in Saskatoon we will be trying other steakhouses.

After a long day visiting Victoria and watching whales, we were back to Vancouver starving and thirsty. We decided to visit this place which we enjoyed a lot, the service, food wine and beer were very good. Special thanks to Mik! Réservez une table maintenant

Attended a Business Supper here and we were not disappointed. This Keg is consistent with the Kegs all over the country with excellent service and excellent food. Always a pleasure to eat here.

Excellent choice for our get together. The Keg has the best steak in town. The service was second to none. It was busy and noisy but still very comfortable.
