The Keg Steakhouse St. Catharines

First Keg “patio” experience!! A beautiful evening to sit on the patio. An extra heater or fireplace would have been great given the time of year but overall it was a very good experience. I provided feedback to our server in regards to how my steak was cooked, only to help staff learn from mistakes. I asked for medium-well and it was WELL (we joked it was a hockey puck). The floor manager visited our table offered us dessert, upon politely declining he kindly took my beverage off the menu. A nice gesture for sure as I had only mentioned to help kitchen staff hopefully improve moving forward the service from each staff member was friendly professional. It's been a while since our last visit to The Keg, but we recently made a reservation for the bar. Upon arrival, the main entrance was chaotic, but we were seated right away in the bar area. Our server, Holly, was fantastic. She let us know right from the start that the kitchen was running behind due to several large groups dining in the main area, which we appreciated. The food was excellent, with our filets cooked to a perfect blue rare. The bill was reasonable, especially since we had three gift cards to use, making it a very affordable evening. Once again, Holly truly enhanced our experience.

Excellent service and food. We were out celebrating our anniversary and of course received the free Billy Miner pie. Didn't feel rushed while eating..always great when you can enjoy your appetizer and not have the main course show up early.

This is our second visit, and both times have been a great experience. The food, atmosphere, and service are excellent. The wine is a bit expensive, but it's very delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent service from our service Jody! I just wished the menu price was same as bill. My blue cheese filet on menu said $49 but bill said $57

Was really busy so they let us choose a dessert on the house. Very nice way to compensate for the delay. Definitely will be back.

Had to wait a long time for meal, steak knives were dull, would suggest knives with tines, very noisy atmosphere
