We had hoped for a table for four since it would have given us more space, especially as we were seated near the doors that lead outside and close to the ladies' restroom, which had a nice decor. My mother ended up shifting her chair for comfort. Amazing stay at this warm and cosy Inn!! Roaring log fires, a warm welcome and great service from Eileen and the whole team made for a relaxing few days! Compliments to the chef for my perfectly cooked steak and all the staff who actually took the time to get to know us, what a difference that makes! it is my first time here, but I would definitely go again! pampering, attentiveness to their needs, even if the place was very, very busy. the food was very good and that was worth waiting. joe who served us was exceptional in his desire to make our time there to remember! excellent service. you will not be disappointed!
We attended a wedding meal here last Wednesday. Staff were pleasant and smilies, nothing was to much trouble. Food was fantastic. Eaten there twice in the last week and the Sunday lunch was lovely. Will definitely be dining here again. Looks fantastic after the recent refurb with a fantastic outdoor area.
the eating was as expected and all our party of 5 enjoyed their meals. as it was a busy bank holiday, some items had sold out, but that was not a problem. the personal is a credit to the company, everyone was very attentive and extremely pleasant. will definitely return.
