Quite Simply French

Atmosphere was nicely close and intimate. Service was friendly if a little slow but acceptable and good for having a long drawn out meal. The food was a little hit and miss, when ordering a blue steak at a French style restaurant, you sort of expect a nicely seasoned barely seared steak not a medium rare. Wine list was above average for Lancaster but still not fantastic.

I can easily say I give QSF a full 5 stars, I took my wife for our anniversary meal last night and the whole evening was relaxing, refreshing and total value for money. They served on time and gave that special attention to detail, the food has to be the best in our small but traditional city. Many thanks to all the staff

Great atmosphere for my big birthday. Staff very attentive and front of house manager brilliant. Food was a very high standard. Didn’t give 5 stars only because lighting was low to read menu. But we’ll worth visiting a Lancaster institution for food etc.

Service, very professional. Ambiance, really good. Food... Out of this world. The confit duck was unbelievable, and if I ever have a last meal I want dauphinoise potatoes from here. Expensive, yes but definitely worth it.

one of the best restaurants in lancaster. always great service is the Sunday meal contract a bargain.
