I've picked up food from this location five times, and each time I was satisfied enough to return. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. I ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp and a #2 combo that included Dungeness clams and shrimp. The noodles and shrimp had chunks of burnt residue that I had to pick out. As for the combo, the crab was OLD—I couldn't finish it. The corn was dried out, and I suspect they thought putting it back into the mix would rehydrate it, but that clearly didn't work. The sausage was half the thickness of what I've had in previous orders, and the soup was nothing more than oil. In the past, I used to mix the soup with rice and pan fry it with a couple of eggs for...
Ordered one pound of shrimp and got a little more I think which was very nice. Sauce was a little under flavored though kinda just tasted like butter with a sample of seasoning. Lemons were very hard to squeeze and my soda was not very sweet though it was orange soda. There were also ants : . Gave us lots of fries and eggs were cooked well. The server was also very nice, she was very quick and checked in often but not too often, she needs a raise she was literally RUNNINNG around taking orders. The atmosphere was nice with good music and not too many ppl.
Due to the necessity of eating in a hurry, I suggest wearing comfortable clothing. The shrimp was excellent for satisfying hunger, but the amount of crayfish you can consume is relatively small considering its weight. There's an extra charge for removing the shrimp heads and adding sauce as a side, but they only present these options without any mention of the additional cost. Therefore, if you aren't proficient in English, the final bill could be higher than you anticipated.
I really enjoy this restaurant, but they can be a bit frustrating at times. I tried to place an order over the phone because the website was down, but when I called, a girl said she couldn’t take my call. Then, about ten minutes later, my husband called and she happily took his order. When he arrived, she was overly friendly and flirtatious with him. This place is located in Bell Gardens off of S. Eastern in a Plaza with other stores and restaurants. It has a pretty good menu and the prices compared to other places are competitive. The staff was very friendly and helpful but service was a little too slow. They offer a variety of seafood as well as combination dishes. The seating is just right, spacious and the atmosphere is great.
**Vegetarian Options:** I really enjoy the vegetarian dishes; they are excellent! **Parking:** There is plenty of good parking available. **Kid-Friendliness:** It's a very welcoming environment for families. **Wheelchair Accessibility:** The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, and the staff is very helpful to those who need assistance. It's great to see such consideration.
When I tell you I eat here at least three-four times a week it?s very clean the staff is amazing food is heaven on earth I give this location 10???I wasn?t even into sea food into I came to this location they take they time with preparation of the food at this location food always made right the first time and they also have happy hour !!
Very unacceptable behavior! The employees treat customers like a piece of garbash. Don't recommend coming here, terrible service, staff is mad about shifts and give bad attitudes to strangers. Food is also very garbash, made me very sick. Go spend your gold coins somewhere else, the boiling crab is better . Réservez une table maintenant
We had a large family gathering at Kickin Crab and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food quality was exceptional. This location is definitely one of the best Kickin Crab spots around! If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend checking it out.
