first I love the charm of this opposite; perfectly preserved roads of the Georgian workers' houses that survived the flash, the expansion of the nearby waterloo station and (especially) immobilien developers fortunately! to the happiness it is now all part of a protected area. the cherry on the cake is this beautiful grade ii listed pub, serving a great selection of well maintained real ales. the only reminder that we are in more modern times is the Thai menu! Although the traditional English pub bureau would rather stand with the “fine” both the pub and the opposite one would stand in, it looked very good to eat. really friendly staff and clientel; one must visit if they are in the opposite...

while we are looking for a late afternoon place to eat before a visit to the royal festival hall and away from all chain restaurants that we pub on this small back street in a quiet street that seemed immune to the surrounding city.... decided to get a drink and to ask food recommendations, just to say they have a Thai restaurant at the back of the pub opening in minutes. the bar staff has even suggested other places if we have not failed, but for the happiness we decided to go there and were so satisfied that we did. beautiful juicy back room as thai restaurant and served the freshest tasty Thai food we had the privilege to experience. give it a try, they will not be dissapointed

first visit the kings arms pun with Thai restaurant and we were not disappointed. we had just arrived din london so that a walk in and although very busy in the dining room we were made to feel welcome and a sitting area for...long enough for us, although reserved for later diners. that was great and we tied ourselves up for a small part plate that was worth a big one for every money. the place was the beer was great, but busy, as not many sitting opportunities and we wanted to be there earlier to get a place in the beautiful traditional pub area. would like to visit again.

it is a great fan of the kings arms and it is worth visiting for its authentic look and feel. but never eaten there I decided to book a table for two and that on the phone. at this point, it would have been good to have said that we could only have an hour of the table. Obviously, londoners pubs have a lot of reason to complain, but that's just naughty and not something inconspicuous. Eating itself was really good, but whole experience pampered by its hastily nature, which did not help by the workers to take minutes order!

h, k and I chose the King’s arms pub to meet last Saturday evening, for its proximity to waterloo and because they serve rotating craft beers. roosters was on our visit, so, from home. kanchanas kitchen in King’s arms. it was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, especially as they showed the euro 2016 football matches on large screens. pleasant for us, we could get a table in the Thai restaurant, canchanas kitchen in the back room.

I do not like pubs that feels like restaurants with bars. This place does food, but I think that they have hidden the dining area out the back somewhere as it very much had a drinkers feel to it. Almost like a country pub in a village in Yorkshire. Not cheap, but that is the way the area is. I’d like to come back to this place when I’ve got more time.

We had an old girls reunion here last Saturday afternoon. We were fortunate to have a private room upstairs and had a wonderful time . The food was incredible very fresh, tasty and reasonable. The bar staff were so helpful and friendly I would absolutely...recommend this venue. We were made to feel very welcome and we were very well looked after.

Our first visit, met sister who frequents the restaurant regularly as near her work, was so lovely to eat in a non chain restaurant, great beer (our local Adnams Southwold) lovely waitress, amended the meal to remove any fish from the dish I chose, definitely...would return when visiting London, we love to seek out these unknown places to eat.
