The King's Arms - Réserver une table

An ok, but not great family dinner was had here. There are a reasonable selection of meals as long as you don't want vegetarian! My biggest issue is that everything is very highly salted! I had to send my first plate back as the fries were completely inedible due to the quantity of salt on them. A replacement was provided but I made sure to specify NO salt at all to be added to them but even so the burger was still very salted and not really enjoyable. If you're the sort of person that likes high blood pressure and super salted food or just tip the salt cellar up without tasting your food then you'll probably like it here. But I'll probably not revisit in a hurry.

Great experience. I visited this restaurant several years ago and I'm happy to see that their high standards have been maintained. I went on 'steak night' yesterday and the food was expertly cooked, the portion size was good, plates were warm, and the service was friendly and professional. Definitely worth the price.

Just popped in for drinks after a four and a half mile hike. It was busy, only a bench was available to sit on. Good range of ciders and beers, lots of gins. The food smelt great and the menu looked good.

Perfect lunch,best fish and chips around and service was lovely too Planning to go back soon with some more family
