The Kings Head Coffee Gin

Traditional pub on the outside, tacky bar on the inside. We were quite enthused as we walked up to this old looking traditional pub but when we walked in there was an 'ah ' moment. The inside is basically a bar and not a great one. The toilets were dirty, run down and just about functional. I can imagine this place was beautiful in its hey day but any character the building had is long gone. Can 't comment on the food because we only had a drink but didn 't receive the warmest welcome on arrival. Probably won 't be back.

Just popped in for a drink. The gin selection was amazing and the barman was very knowledgeable. We sat outside in the back yard which was very unloved. Could do with a lot of sprucing up. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Popped in for a lunchtime snack. Large club sandwich but chicken was overcooked so lost a star there. Great service and staff. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
