If the food had been hot, I would have given this review a 5-star rating without hesitation. It seems that Wetherspoons restaurants across the UK tend to serve cold beans with their breakfast, but the other items are usually hot. We ordered our food through the app, and the server quickly brought us our coffee mugs. She was friendly and efficient, displaying a high level of professionalism. She noticed a coffee stain inside my mug and promptly replaced it. When the coffee machine ran out of coffee, she immediately took care of it. However, the breakfast arrived just four minutes after ordering, and the bacon and beans were cold, while the sausage and hash browns were lukewarm. This made for...
My family and I stopped by King's Highway for lunch during a shopping trip. We ordered two mixed grills, but were disappointed when they arrived cold and with unclear meat identification. The tables and plates were dirty upon our arrival, which was off-putting. The boys' pizzas also seemed cold, as if they had been stored in a fridge. When we brought up our concerns about the temperature of the food, the manager's defensive and unprofessional attitude was not appreciated. It may be beneficial for him to consider attending a customer service and complaint management course. Overall, we will not be returning to this establishment.
We booked 7 nights based in the lovely experience we had at another Weatherspoon's hotel. This hotel let us down. Drab, brown, depressing decor, matching the personality of a miserable desk clerks who was more interested in her computer than guests. Must be a franchisee as I doubt an employer would approve. Food was dismal as well. Ordered bacon butty, simple right? Got cold greasy bacon. Tried fish chips, normally a big Weatherspoon's winner, got cold chips. Fortunately, we moved on and the Weatherspoon's restaurant experience improved in Dundee, Edinburgh and Crawley.
We visit this pub fairly often and generally have a good experience but yesterday I have to compliment the staff. What a hard working, efficient team, constantly clearing tables, keeping the bar clear, serving customers quickly and efficiently and all with a smile on their faces! We were in at lunchtime and back in again towards the end of the evening and the same team were still managing to smile! They must have a great Manager to motivate them all. Thank you and we will be back.

In this place we dine and return the next day to have breakfast because they have many options to choose and we wanted to repeat. It is a pub environment with lots of drink, high tables and lots of people but very large and there is always room and it opens late. You have to go get your food at the bar and then take it to the table. There are curry options, potatoes in different shapes, sausages of Quorn, beans, avocado, full vegan lunch, ... and for an affordable price.
It can be a bit of a hit or miss when visiting here, but thankfully on our visit this week, it was really good. Lovely and clean on arrival, with staff going around clearing and cleaning tables, which is always nice to see. Food and drink prices creeping up slightly, but still excellent value for money, so so many meal deals available which also include a drink. We only had drinks but it was our first pint of Christmas Ale this year. . What's not to like
I ended here when it was one of the only places that served food after 10:00. My bus came too late and I was hungry. They had many vegan options on the huge menu. I have a vegan rag Nugget Wrap, tomatoes basil soup, pommes and an IPA beer for less than £9! They also had beyond burgers, some salads, pizza, curry, and probably more I don't remember. I got served cold lasagne Order coffee, was told to make it myself at the coffee machine Went there with a family of 7, asked a young staff is there any table for 7 people? Answered with cold shoulder... I don 't know

The food at this restaurant is a great deal for the price. Most meals come with a complimentary drink. You can easily order through the app and don't even have to get up from your table. Had a great evening overall.
