The Kynnersley Arms

We have been meaning to visit you for many years simply because of the namesake. We drove down from Knutsford, Cheshire with our two children and were made to feel very welcome by the manager and all of his staff. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Inn and were fascinated to see the remains of the corn mill which unbelievably is recorded in the Domesday book! We thoroughly enjoyed our carvery meal. The vegetables were lovely and fresh, the meat beautifully cooked and the delicious trimmings made for a very enjoyable meal. After a family trip to haughmond hill we couldn't decide what to do for tee after we drove past the kynnersley arms many a time without this time we did and we can all definitely say it was good value. in front of the house was paul, who was very welcoming and when the children decided to mix and fit the menu, it was no problem, nick and I ate out of the special board, bier broken mushrooms and a steak pipe went great for me and nick had deep fritted Risotto balls followed by Fidget Pie. the children had kiesige garlauchbrot and made home pizza with individual toppings. the generous portions beat us all, but a takeaway box was easily provided. all in a great evening and we will be back soon.

today for a sunday stroller and a word to describe the food and the service. wow! starter I had a prawn cocktail and it came in a bowl full melt in her mouth prawns on a bed of salats and was divine. the sonday carvery was absolutely beautiful, decent portion-sized cut beef, amazing chunky and crispy cauliflower cheese, beautiful toasted and correct gravy. at this point we were filled until we saw more tables desserts, so we had to ask for the desserts menu chocolate bread and butter pudding! omg that was perhaps the most amazing dessert I ever tasted in my life! I cannot recommend this place very much! fantastic thanks

drove past yesterday and decided to dive today for a Sunday carvery. beautiful atmosphere, very attentive staff, beautiful local beer, great eating. sent for the beef option, which was nicely tender with a nice selection to veg. to dessert is one of the best tiramisu outside italian. we were so impressed that we booked for Christmas dinner. highly recommended. Delicious food and great value! The carvery beef was excellent. The only downside was the foul language coming from the locals at the bar. It is what it is, and while I usually try to overlook things like that, I decided to speak up this time. The manager apologized, and I appreciated that.

I stopped by for a pint while I was passing through, and it's now called The Mill. They have excellent ale at a very reasonable price, and they're very attentive to Covid safety measures. It's a pleasant spot in a lovely neighborhood.

I sat tonight at my birthday meal that it was the best I had for a long time. the personal was amazing, could not have been more attentive and eating was simply amazing would recommend this place in any case in a heartbeat xxx

Beautiful carvery and sticky toffee pudding to die for. Very friendly with excellent advice on the best mixer to have with my gin. Will definitely be going again

Just had the most scrummy Gnocchi dish at the Kyn I'm saying this after just getting back from Italy! Cannot recommend highly enough!
