The Lazy Trout - Réservation de table

Arrived for a pre-booked family meal for 8 and were seated immediately on a lovely long table near to the front of the pub. We ordered drinks then our food which was delivered to our table piping hot within about 10 minutes. The booking allowed for two and a half hours which we appreciated as we had 2 very young children with us so thought it would give us plenty of time. Due to the excellent service we in fact only needed one hour and all left totally satisfied.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We were seated in a cozy corner by the fire, perfect for a chilly autumn day. The food was delicious and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Additionally, there was a great selection of beers to choose from.

We love the lazy trout always good service and amazing food . Was my brothers first time and he will be back also as he loved it . We had roast beef at 5:30 and was still perfectly pink that’s an achievement of a top chef

Visited with friends and our dogs. Lovely food and excellent service. Very dog friendly too. Only problem was parking, but we managed to find a space a few minutes walk away. WIll definitely be returning. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent food al dente veg freshly Cooke very tasty lamb soo tender fab gravy and roasties dog loved leftovers Great Alfrogqtto too excellent meal and service and good value will be back !

Fantastic food, chicken skewers, fish and chips,lamb and beef dinners, apple/fruit crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely beautiful and the service was spot on....

Lovely cosy and friendly pub. Two excellent beef roasts and a drink. All reasonably priced. Very nice. Parking is a slight challenge but nothing we couldn't cope with.

A great family lunch for my mothers birthday. Absolutely brilliant meals, good choices, service excellent could not fault it. Will certainly be back Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent service, food delicious. I personally prefer a plate to a bowl but that’s just a personal choice, otherwise faultless

Very underwhelmed. Food wasn’t good- very average, bland and fish tasted odd. Beer was poorly kept, not quite off but close.
