The Lighthouse Wharf Hotel

We were well served at lunch after a visit to the Lighthouse, which is still visible from the Restaurant. Staff were friendly and patient when our young boys were making up their minds from the 'kids menu'. My daughter and I shared a large Seafood Platter. As we do not eat oysters staff suggested extra prawns, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is quite nautical there, appropriate to its setting and name. It was well patronized, and patrons enjoying themselves added to a happy noise level all around us. For coffee we retired to the courtyard lounge, which has humorous pictures adorning the walls, comfortable seating and, important when there with children, board and other games to keep the young ones happy.

Food was very nice. Waitress did not listen when 2 coffees were also requested. After waiting 20mins no food no coffees. When asked where are our coffees. She stated you didn't order them and proceeded to argue with me then walked off taking no responsibility. Gentleman sorted the issue and was very professional.Maybe next time when she takes an order she LISTENS rather than joking with another female staff member saying "why are laughing at me? you're always laughing at me"All in all an average day in port adelaide.

Nestled in the historical part of Port Adelaide this venue is good for winter or summer. It was a pleasure to get eggs and toast how you order them and a good cup of coffee to help wash it down. Dinner meals are also very nice and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the prices reasonable. In summer it is pleasurable to sit under the umbrellas outside and enjoy drinks. There is an ATM inside if required. Family are welcome and treated with a friendly manner.

We were pleased they catered for a variety of selective eaters. Plenty of choices for vegetarian and GF. Staff were helpful and friendly. We all had a very enjoyable lunch inside and then went outside to enjoy another glass of wine and coffee under the umbrellas.

Great place, good food, friendly staff. Pleasant music and atmosphere, you can sit quietly and relax, talk ... And enjoy the time spent in this institution. Recommend!
